Ayushmann Khurrana Steps into ‘Prem’ Avatar

After Salman Khan immortalised ‘Prem’ in several Rajshri Productions films, Ayushmann Khurrana is set to take forward the legacy. Actress Sharvari Wagh will reportedly star opposite him. While the film is currently being referred to as “Yeh Prem Moh Liya”, the makers have not officially confirmed the title yet.

Himesh Reshammiya Ropes In for Music

In a major development, music composer and singer Himesh Reshammiya has joined hands with Sooraj Barjatya for the film. The duo had previously collaborated on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and Barjatya is said to have chosen Himesh again for his ability to deliver simple, emotional, and widely appealing music.

Reports suggest that Himesh has composed and lent his voice to as many as seven songs for the film. The aim is to create melodies that resonate with both urban and rural audiences, staying true to Barjatya’s signature storytelling style.

Interestingly, this will mark the first collaboration between Himesh Reshammiya and Ayushmann Khurrana, adding another layer of freshness to the project.

Production and Other Updates

The film is being backed by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahavir Jain Films. Earlier, there were speculations about the film being titled “Dakait”, but it is currently being developed under the working title “Yeh Prem Moh Liya”.
