How to correct father's name in Aadhaar card online?
For this, first go to the official website of UIDAI.
Log in using your Aadhaar number.
To log in, an OTP will come on your registered mobile number, by entering which you can proceed further.
After this, select 'Update Demographic' or 'Update Aadhaar Details' option.
Here you'll find options to update various details. Select 'Father's Name' and enter the correct name.
Now you have to upload a valid document (like identity card or birth certificate) in which your father's correct name is written.
After filling all the information correctly, submit the form.
You will receive an Update Request Number (URN) through which you can track the status of your update.
Offline Process
If you don't want to proceed online, you can visit your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra. There, you'll need to fill out an update form, providing the correct information. Submit the form along with the required documents and complete your biometric verification. Afterward, you'll receive an acknowledgement slip containing your URN number. This number will allow you to check the status of your update.
