digital desk- In the important meeting of AIMIM held in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, party leaders fiercely targeted the opposition parties, especially the Samajwadi Party. Clarifying on the recent controversial statement of State President Shaukat Ali, party leader Shadab Chauhan said that the context of the statement may be different, but its objective is clear to expose the “silence” of the opposition sitting in the House. Shadab Chauhan alleged that the 111 opposition MLAs present in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly are completely silent on important issues of the public. He said that whether it was incidents of mob lynching, attacks on Qureshi community or disputes to Waqf properties and religious places, the opposition MLAs did not raise any concrete voice in all these matters. He said, “If even 11 MLAs from our party reach the House, we will talk to the Chief Minister eye to eye. We are not among those who are afraid.”
Clear strategy on 2027 elections
During the meeting, the party also made its strategy clear for the 2027 assembly elections. Shadab said that AIMIM has added about 50 lakh members so far and now a campaign is being run to strengthen the organization at the booth level. He said that the state tour of party chief Asaduddin Owaisi will start from the month of June, with which the election atmosphere will be sharpened. Attacking Samajwadi Party and its chief Akhilesh Yadav, Shadab Chauhan raised sharp questions. He said, “Has the Muslim community become the hostage of SP? Does any one party have the right on their votes?” He also alleged that Akhilesh Yadav does not have a “big heart” to lead the Muslim society.
SP works like a supporting party of BJP- Shadab Chauhan
Shadab further said that strict action is never taken against the Samajwadi Party because it is working like a “helper” of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He claimed that the public has now started understanding this “political slavery” and wants change. Also targeting the sitting MPs of Moradabad and Rampur, Shadab called them players of “match fixing”. He said that the leaders are just showing off by taking public votes, while no concrete work has been done at the ground level. He also termed issues like AIIMS hospital as “just drama”.
Booth committees ready for 200 seats
Talking about the party’s strategy, he said that AIMIM has prepared booth committees on about 200 seats and applications from new candidates are being received continuously. He also indicated that many big leaders are in touch with the party and the organization will become stronger in the coming times. In the end, Shadab Chauhan said that the aim of AIMIM is not just to win the elections, but to create a social alliance in which Dalits, Muslims and other deprived classes are united. He promised that after coming to power, complete prohibition will be implemented in the state and basic facilities will be provided to the general public on priority basis.
