The film’s rapid rise has also drawn comparisons with Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra, which reached the Rs 100 crore mark within a week before eventually becoming one of Mollywood’s biggest global successes. If the current pace continues, Vaazha 2 could potentially surpass that film’s lifetime earnings.
About Vaazha 2The sequel stars Hashir H alongside Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy and Vinayak V. The narrative continues the emotional journey introduced in the earlier film, focusing on young men navigating adulthood while confronting societal expectations. The original film, Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys, released in 2024, was directed by Anand Menen and written by Vipin Das. Reports suggest the sequel has already surpassed the lifetime earnings of the first instalment.
