Developed by Quarter Up—Skybound Entertainment's first in-house game studio—Invincible VS draws from the original Image Comics run rather than just the animated series. Ten of the game's 18-fighter launch roster are playable in the beta, including Invincible, Omni-Man, Atom Eve, Battle Beast, and the newly announced Allen the Alien. No sign-up is required; just download it from your platform's store.
The beta's ranked mode comes with a neat incentiveThree modes are available during the beta: a tutorial, practice mode, and ranked matches. The ranked system is worth paying attention to—the top 20 players on the leaderboard by the time the beta ends will get their names in the final game's credits as "Beta Beasts." Ranked progression won't carry over to launch, though, so this is purely a bragging-rights window.
Beta players also get a bonus Omni-Man skin at launch that swaps his signature moustache for a full beard, inspired by his Season 4 appearance on Prime Video.
Physical editions are up for pre-order in India at Rs 3,999On the India front, physical boxed editions of Invincible VS for PS5 are now available for pre-order through Games The Shop at Rs 3,999. The standard edition includes a physical disc, a controller layout card, and exclusive keepsake cards. PC players will have to wait for launch day—the beta is console-only.
