A survey released on the occasion of World Health Day has presented shocking figures regarding the health of Indians. According to this survey conducted by Local Circles, only 7.3% people in the country are paying attention to their fitness, eating habits, exercise and proper daily routine. That means out of every 100, only 7-8 people are trying to keep themselves fit.
The survey also revealed that 17% people believed that there is at least one person around them who is focusing on reducing the effects of age and improving health. The remaining 75% people are either not making any efforts in this direction or there is no one around them who is taking fitness seriously.
This survey was conducted on more than 28,000 people from 311 districts across the country. This included 61% men and 39% women. According to experts, due to increasing wrong eating habits, deteriorating lifestyle and lack of exercise, people are increasingly becoming victims of diseases like obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure. On the occasion of World Health Day, this survey is a warning that if people do not pay attention to their health in time, then it can become a serious crisis in the future.
