His scene at the most crucial juncture of the film, in which Alam convinces Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza to take the blame for his friend Pinda’s death, went viral on social media. The popularity of this scene also gave Gaurav a different identity in the film industry.

The same scene of the audition became a hit

Gaurav Gera recently told in his interview that this scene was not a surprise for him. He said, “I was given the same heavy scene in the audition. I was called to Mukesh Chhabra’s office and asked to perform it. So when this scene appeared in the film, I knew that the audience would like this role.”

Gaurav believes that his character is Hamza’s only support system and is the person who knows everything. That is why he played this role with complete seriousness and intensity.

Dialogue created a stir on the internet

The famous dialogue of the film “Darling, darling dil kyun toda, peelo peelo alam doodh soda” has gone viral on the internet. Gaurav told that this is the biggest reaction he is getting from his friends and family. “There are a lot of messages coming in and this is the most common response,” he said.

He said, “For the last three years, I have made very few videos. Creating video content is a lot of hard work—shooting, editing, everything. Now I like to do variety and experience new things.”
