Disaster in Lebanon: 254 deaths, thousands injured
Israel conducted a series of airstrikes on several Lebanese cities—Beirut, Baalbek, Hermel, Nabatieh, Sidon, and Tyre. At least 254 people died in these attacks and more than 1,100 people are said to be injured. After these attacks, there is an atmosphere of panic throughout Lebanon. Relief and rescue teams are continuously working to rescue people trapped under the debris. This attack is considered to be the biggest and deadliest in recent times.
