OnePlus has announced the launch of its new smartphone Nord 6 on 7 April 2026. The device is competing with the Nord 5 that was launched in July last year. OnePlus Nord 6 Vs Nord 5: Design and display

In contrast, the Nord 5 has a 6.83-inch display, but its refresh rate is limited to just 144Hz and brightness is limited to 1800 nits. The Nord 6 also includes Gorilla Glass 7i protection, which makes it even stronger.

OnePlus Nord 6 Vs Nord 5: Battery and Charging

The key feature of the Nord 6 is its 9000mAh battery, which is much larger than the 6800mAh battery of the Nord 5. Both the smartphones support 80W fast charging and 5W reverse charging. Interestingly, both the smartphones offer video playback time of around 19 hours.

OnePlus Nord 6 Vs Nord 5: Performance and software

The Nord 6 includes Snapdragon 8s Gen4 processor and Adreno 825 GPU, while the Nord 5 gets Snapdragon 8s Gen3 and Adreno 735 GPU. Nord 6 will run on Android 16/OxygenOS 16, while Nord 5 is based on Android 15/OxygenOS 15.

OnePlus Nord 6 Vs Nord 5: Price and Verdict

Nord 5 price starts at ₹33,999. At the same time, the price of Nord 6 is likely to be between ₹ 35,000 to ₹ 40,000. There won’t be much difference between the two. If you are planning to buy a smartphone outright, the Nord 5 is a reliable option.
