JEE Mains Session 2 exam (JEE Main 2026) is over. The examination was conducted by the National Testing Agency on April 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 in computer based test mode. When will the answer key be released?
Letter sheets of all shifts will be made available on 9th April. Its objective is to ensure transparency in the examination. The provisional answer key for Paper-1 will be released on 11 April 2026. Candidates will be given a chance to lodge objection on this. However, this facility will be available only for the prescribed time limit. To register the challenge, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 200 per question. Which will be accepted only in online mode. The date of Paper-2 has not been announced yet. Update on results also
The result of JEE Mains Session-2 Paper-1 can be declared on April 20. The final answer key will be released after reviewing the challenges registered on the provisional answer key. The result will also be based on this. On which no chance will be given to lodge a challenge.
Based on the score obtained in the examination, candidates will get admission into BE/B.Tech courses in various NITs and engineering institutes. Apart from this, candidates securing top 2.5 lakh ranks will be allowed to appear in JEE Advanced. For which the application process will start on 23rd April. However, the registration portal for foreign students has become active only on 6th April.
