Lucknow. An important meeting of All India Shia Personal Law Board was held today at Shia Degree College, Victoria Street Campus, Lucknow. The meeting was presided over by Board Chairman Maulana Syed Saim Mehdi Naqvi, while Board General Secretary Maulana Yasoob Abbas addressed the gathering.

The Board heartily congratulated the people and leadership of Iran on achieving a resounding victory in the 40-day war against the US and Israel. Maulana Yasoob Abbas said that it is now clear that Iran has established itself as an emerging superpower of the world.

Maulana Yasoob Abbas further said that Iran always respected international law and humanity during the war. He never targeted schools and hospitals. According to him, Iran has achieved this victory by following the path shown by the Quran, Prophet Mohammad and Ahlulbayt.

Maulana said that the world will never forget the sacrifice of Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei, who attained martyrdom but refused to bow down before the arrogant powers of the world. He said that yesterday US President Donald Trump was saying that he would destroy Iranian civilization, but today he is considering Iran’s ceasefire terms and almost accepting them. This is a major victory for Iran and its worldwide supporters.

Maulana Yasoob Abbas said that Iran was never afraid of the big army or weapons of America and Israel. The Iranian government, military, and public all draw inspiration from Imam Hussein and the Battle of Karbala. He said that this is not only the defeat of America and Israel, but also the defeat of the so-called Islamic countries Saudi Arabia and UAE.

Board Chairman Maulana Saim Mehdi Naqvi said that we pay tribute to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and all the Iranians who lost their lives, especially the school children who were targeted by the US. Maulana said that America and Israel did not follow international laws during the war and thousands of innocent civilians were killed in Iran.

Iran is a peace-loving nation, but America and Israel imposed war on it and used their bases in the so-called countries to destroy Iran, but Iran faced the war with patience and has emerged as the winner today.
