Sriman added that, despite Vijay’s busy schedule amidst his campaign for the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, he cared about his friend. “You might think that I am saying all this for comments, out of partisanship or any other reason. However, I meant to highlight the respect he shows for his friendship,” Sriman added. The actor conveyed his blessings and best wishes to his longtime friend in the upcoming elections.
The two actors have been longtime friends and collaborators. They worked on films such as Love Today (1997), Friends (2001), Vaseegara (2003), Pokkiri (2007), Master (2021), and Varisu (2023). Sriman even appeared in Malaysia for the audio launch of Jana SupervisorVijay’s final film as an actor.
