There is great news for young individuals aspiring to secure a government job within the police department. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued a notification regarding the recruitment of Excise Constables. According to the notification, the application process for this recruitment will commence on June 4 and will remain open until the stipulated deadline of June 24, 2026. **Eligibility Criteria for Excise Constable Posts**
To participate in this recruitment, candidates must possess a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard.
Candidates must have passed the Intermediate Examination (Class 12) conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, or an examination deemed equivalent thereto.
As of July 1, 2026, candidates must have attained a minimum age of 18 years and must not exceed 40 years of age.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit.
**Recruitment Details**
A total of 722 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Of these, 612 posts are reserved for the position of Excise Constable, while 110 posts are reserved for Excise Constable (Special Selection).
**Physical Standards**
To participate in this recruitment, male candidates are required to meet the following physical standards: a minimum height of 167.6 cm, and a chest measurement of 80 cm (unexpanded) and 85 cm (expanded). For female candidates, the minimum height requirement is set at 152 cm, with a reduced requirement of 147 cm for candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories. A minimum weight of 45 kilograms is mandatory for all candidates.
**Application Fee**
