Ground Reality Check: Will land, money and planning become the biggest obstacles?
It is not easy to implement such a big plan. For this, the biggest challenges are land acquisition, pending cases in the court, need for huge funding and coordination between different projects. Apart from this, there is a problem of waterlogging at 137 places in the city and 84 wrongly designed speed breakers need to be removed. That means this plan will remain incomplete without infrastructure improvement. Officials say that this plan will be implemented by connecting it with metro, bus and suburban rail, so that its effect remains for a long time.
