Tesla Charging Station: American giant Tesla has strengthened its charging network in India by opening a new charging station at Nexus Seawoods Mall in Navi Mumbai. This is being considered an important step of the company towards the rapidly growing EV infrastructure in the country. This charging facility has been installed in the B1 parking lot of the mall. A total of 8 charging points are available here, which include 4 Superchargers and 4 Destination Chargers. Superchargers support DC fast charging up to 250kW, while destination chargers come with 11kW AC output. With this, users can choose the charging option as per their need.

Benefit of fast charging
According to the company, with the help of V4 supercharger, Tesla Model Y can be charged so much in just 15 minutes that it can run for about 275 kilometers. This feature makes long distance travel easier.

network expansion
Through this project, Tesla India is working on a plan to increase the charging network at locations like malls, highways and food courts. Before this, the company has also established its charging stations in Gurugram, Delhi and Mumbai. With this new station in Navi Mumbai, Tesla has a total of 4 charging stations in India.

smart app support
Tesla’s charging facility is linked to the company’s mobile app. Users can search for nearby stations, check slot availability and even receive notifications when charging is complete through the app. Additionally, payment can also be made directly through the app.

charging costs
Charging at Tesla’s 250kW supercharger costs around Rs 24 per unit. It costs around Rs 1,800 to Rs 2,000 to fully charge Model Y. At the same time, the price of 11kW destination charger has been kept at around Rs 14 per unit.

Pop-up store facility
Along with the charging station, Tesla’s pop-up store has also been started in the mall, where customers can see the company’s cars closely and get information about their technology and features.
