Imagine being deep in slumber only to wake up to a long, menacing snake coiled above you. This frightening scenario recently unfolded for a woman, and the footage has since gone viral on social media.

In the viral clip, a woman is seen sleeping on a cot in an open area when a snake climbs onto her. The snake sits there, poised with its hood raised. Upon realizing the snake's presence, the woman becomes terrified but wisely remains still, understanding that any sudden movement could provoke the snake to strike.

In her local language, she calls for help while the snake remains comfortably perched on her. Nearby, a calf curiously observes the snake. The video was shared by an IFS officer on Twitter, who captioned it with a question about how viewers would react if they found themselves in a similar situation.

Viewers have shared a variety of amusing reactions to the video. One user remarked, 'This is extremely dangerous; I would have had a heart attack!' Another commented, 'If I were in her place, I would invoke Lord Shiva's name and plead for my life.'

Another individual noted the woman's wise decision to remain still, stating that if she had attempted to push the snake away or moved, it could have bitten her. A different user added, 'Believe me, humans fear snakes more than snakes fear humans. When a snake feels threatened, it attacks. The woman didn't frighten it, so it posed no threat.'
