The Mumbai Indians bowlers found themselves unable to stop the two openers.Jasprit Bumrah conceded 14 in his only over of the powerplay while Deepak Chahar and Trent Boult gave away 22 each in their single powerplay overs. Hardik Pandya also bowled 0.2 overs for only 1 run at the time of writing.

RR's Strong Start in Thrilling Short Match
RR's batting looked positive, aggressive and elegant. Both openers struck with tremendous confidence and took the game away from MI right from the outset. With the majority of the RR batting lineup to still bat, Riyan Parag will be keen to keep the momentum high.
For Mumbai Indians batting in an 11-over chase, getting quick wickets early is imperative. The openers for Rajasthan Royals are in fine form and the MI bowlers need to find a way to take wickets or they will be chasing an impossible target to defend.
This is sure to be a very fast-paced and exciting 11-over game and it could have a huge bearing on early standings in IPL 2026 with both teams eager to secure victory. The form of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal so far could well decide this shortened game.
