Ramayana Film Sparks Conversations
The film Ramayana has captured significant attention since its announcement, particularly after the release of the first look featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama on Hanuman Jayanti earlier this month. The reactions have varied widely, prompting producer Namit Malhotra to express his gratitude and humility in light of the discussions. As debates about the film's visual effects and authenticity continue online, the team behind Ramayana: Part 1 is prepared to tackle all inquiries and challenges.

In a heartfelt message shared on X, Malhotra described the enthusiastic response to the film's initial visuals as both “inspiring” and “humbling.” He recognized the deep emotional ties that many have with the Ramayana, referring to it as “a story etched in the souls of billions.” The producer emphasized that all feedback—both positive and critical—is being taken seriously, assuring viewers that the team is “listening closely” and diligently working to create a cinematic experience that honors the beloved epic.
Malhotra elaborated on the extensive collaboration involved in the project, noting that thousands of artists and technicians are passionately working to bring the story to life. He acknowledged the weight of responsibility that comes with portraying such a culturally significant narrative, assuring that every department is committed to excellence. “This is our Ramayana. Actor Clarifies No AI Involvement in Ramayana No AI used in Ramayana - clarifies actor
As discussions around the teaser intensified, some viewers speculated that Artificial Intelligence (AI) had been utilized in crowd scenes featuring Ranbir Kapoor. Observers noted what they perceived as inconsistencies, such as a change in a junior artist’s turban color during a panning shot. However, these claims were swiftly addressed by actor Saket Patel, who was present during the filming.
In an exclusive interview, Patel refuted the AI allegations, clarifying that the scene was shot entirely with real individuals and practical setups. He suggested that any visual discrepancies were likely due to lighting or camera movement rather than digital alterations.
Patel also shared an intriguing detail about Ranbir Kapoor’s commitment to the role. He revealed that Kapoor opted not to use a body double for the scene, despite its scale and complexity, showcasing his dedication to portraying Lord Rama authentically. “How can you expect a film that is so big, made on a huge scale and jispe sabki hopes hai go wrong?” he remarked, expressing confidence in the project.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana: Part 1 is set for a grand release during Diwali this year, featuring a star-studded cast that includes Yash, Sai Pallavi, Ravie Dubey, and Sunny Deol.
