New Delhi: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is facing a second washout in a row after incessant rain delayed the toss of the high-octane clash between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians to persistent rain in Guwahati on Tuesday.
The toss, which was scheduled to be held at 7 pm local time at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, was delayed as rain threatened to play spoilsport for the second day in a row.
Match 12 of IPL 2026 between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) was abandoned after just 3.4 runs due to persistent rain at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on Monday.
“Next update to follow once the rain stops,” the IPL’s official X handle wrote.
