The next fixture, which is set to be played between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians at the ACA Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, on Tuesday, April 07, is also on the brink of an abandonment.
There has been a heavy and a constant downpour in the host city ahead of the RR vs MI clash on Tuesday, and during match hours, thunderstorms are expected according to weather forecast on AccuWeather. As a result, there is a possibility of a delayed start to the encounter, or even a shortened game. In worst-case scenario, the match may even get abandoned if the rain doesn't relent within the cut-off time for a five-over contest.
