Tehran/Washington. Iran has been frightened by US President Donald Trump’s warning of attack if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened by Tuesday. Trump has said that Iran can be completely destroyed in a single night (Tuesday night).

Iran’s Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Alireza Rahimi has called on the country’s youth to form human chains around power plants in view of Trump’s threat.

According to CNN report, Alireza Rahimi has made this appeal after Trump’s threat. Trump has said that if Iran does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz then America will bomb Iran’s public infrastructure.

“I invite all youth, cultural and art figures, athletes and champions to join the national campaign ‘Human Chain of Iranian Youth – For a Brighter Future,'” Rahimi wrote on Twitter.

He wrote, “On Tuesday at 2 pm, we will all stand near power plants across the country, holding hands with our beliefs and ideas, and send the message that attacking public infrastructure is a ‘war crime’.

It is notable that over the weekend Trump had said that Iran had until 8 pm (Eastern Time) on Tuesday night to reach an agreement.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said that Iran can be destroyed in a single night. He said that this could probably happen on Tuesday. He said this is a delicate period. And it all depends on Iran’s steps.

Trump reiterated his threat to attack Iran’s bridges and power plants, claiming he would be willing to suffer if it ensured the freedom of the Iranian people. On the other hand, Tehran warned that the consequences of such attacks would go beyond the region.

Earlier on Monday, Trump called the proposal of many countries for a 45-day ceasefire an important step, but said that it is insufficient.

According to Iranian state media, Iran rejected the proposal and demanded an end to the war once and for all. Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has said in a statement that Iran’s forces will not retreat even if the commanders are killed.
