Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav attacked the Yogi government after the matter of drivers taking salary without driving the buses in Uttar Pradesh’s transport department came to light and said that instead of pretending to run the buses as “bulldozers”, the Chief Minister should get them to run the buses on the corrupt deeds of the minister. Akhilesh Yadav wrote on Twitter on Tuesday, “Everyone knows (bulldozers) will not work because the biggest part of this hooliganism is ‘Chief Donation’. It comes in the ‘box’ only. That is why his ‘kindness’ on the minister will remain in proportion to the arrival of income.”

He said, “Here, during the summer holidays, the public is worried about commuting and on the other hand, the BJP people and their associates are busy in selling the transport department. This is the reason due to which the vehicle of development of Uttar Pradesh has completely stopped after getting stuck in the sunken road of BJP’s corruption.” Akhilesh Yadav said that disruption of traffic and transportation system directly affects the economy. He said that the BJP is not trying to create a trillion dollar economy but is trying to create its own trillion dollar system. BJP neither had, nor has, nor will ever have any concern with the general public. He said that if BJP goes, we will be fine, but don’t worry, bad days are going to end.

It is noteworthy that a big revelation has come to light regarding corruption in the transport department. According to the information, 1671 drivers have been found who are collecting salary without driving the bus, while about 50 percent of the drivers have recorded zero kilometers. At present, there has been no official response from the government or the transport department on this entire matter.
