Experiencing power cuts is quite common in rural areas, but a recent incident in a village in Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh, turned chaotic during a wedding. As the couple was about to exchange vows, the electricity went out, leading to an unexpected mix-up between the brides. This surprising turn of events was revealed on the wedding night, leaving everyone astonished.

This unusual incident took place in Aslana village on May 5, where two sisters were getting married in a grand ceremony under the same canopy. Both brides wore identical wedding dresses and were veiled, preparing to take their vows with their respective grooms. However, when the power cut occurred, the sisters inadvertently ended up exchanging grooms.

The situation escalated when the grooms took the wrong brides home. It was only during the wedding night, when the veils were lifted, that the mix-up was discovered. The grooms informed their families about the confusion, leaving everyone in shock. The grooms refused to accept the swapped brides.

Following this, a priest was called to resolve the situation. Both families reached an agreement, and the grooms were married to the correct brides once again. The grooms, named Bhola and Ganesh, belong to the Bhil community. Ganesh was originally set to marry Nikita, while Bhola was to wed her sister. The power outage and the identical outfits led to the mix-up.

Ramesh, the father of the brides, explained that the confusion arose due to the power cut. Fortunately, both daughters have now been married to their rightful grooms, and everything is back to normal. This bizarre incident has become a hot topic of discussion in the village, reminiscent of scenarios often seen in films. However, it has now become a reality.
