Passengers flying with Singapore Airlines between June 11 and July 19 will be able to watch World Cup matches live on board.
The matches will be streamed via Sport 24 on KrisWorld Live TV, which also provides access to global news and business coverage through BBC News, the airline said in an April 7 statement.
Live broadcasts will be available on all Boeing 787-10 and Boeing 737-8 aircraft in the fleet, as well as on 41 Airbus A350-900 and eight Boeing 777-300ER jets, The Straits Times reported.
However, availability will depend on satellite coverage, broadcasting rights, and regulatory approvals on specific routes.
According to Yeoh Phee Teik, the airline’s senior vice-president for customer experience, the initiative reflects the airline’s commitment to enhancing its in-flight offerings.
The 23rd World Cup will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19 this year.
Singapore Airlines was named the second best airline in the world at Skytrax World’s Best Airlines 2025.
