US Pilot Rescue Iran: Dan Kane, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Army, gave a strong message to the world from the White House, saying that America has the ability to bring back its troops under any circumstances, from any corner of the world. He clarified that the American Army does not leave any of its soldiers behind.

At the same time, John Ratcliffe, explaining the complexity of this rescue mission, said that finding the downed pilot in Iran was like finding “a grain of sand in the desert”. He said that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) used human and technical resources in this mission and also adopted a misleading strategy to confuse Iran.

No-fail rescue operation in Iran

According to Ratcliffe, it was confirmed Saturday morning that the pilot was alive and hiding in a mountain crevice. After this, on the orders of Donald Trump, a “no-fail” rescue operation was started. He proudly said that the American Army has a tradition of not leaving any of its comrades behind.

Dan Kane said that the success of any rescue operation largely depends on the mental strength and will to survive of that pilot. In this mission also the pilot showed extraordinary courage and determination, which became a major reason for the success.

Heavy shelling during the operation

He told that in the initial phase, an American A-10 aircraft was searching for the pilot, when it was fired heavily by the armed groups present in Iran. The aircraft was damaged and had to be diverted to a nearby friendly country, where the pilot ejected safely.

After this the search for the other crew member continued. It had become a kind of “cat and mouse game”, where on one hand the American army was trying to save its soldier, while on the other hand the Iranian forces were trying to capture him. Ultimately the American army was successful in this mission.

Dan Kane also revealed that during the entire operation, a large “air armada” was provided from above to prevent any possible attack. Eventually, both crew members were safely returned to American control.
