Iran's Sports and Youth Ministry has appealed to youth—including students, athletes and artists—to form a "human chain" by gathering around power plants across the country. The government says that this is a symbolic step, which is to show solidarity and security of the country's important infrastructure. According to officials, the idea came from the youth themselves, who wanted to unite for the security of their country.
