Kannada actor Niranjan Kumar , known for his roles in the
Odeya, Badava Rascal and
Head Bush, was reportedly injured following a late-night altercation at a bar in Bengaluru, leading to political police investigation.
The incident is said to have taken place after the actor stopped by at a bar following a visit to friend and fellow actor Yashas Suhas. According to reports, what began as a minor disagreement inside the establishment soon escalated. An unidentified individual allegedly pushed Niranjan, sparking a verbal exchange that quickly turned physical. Soon after, a group is said to have joined in, with reports claiming that the actor was attacked with beer bottles due to which he sustained injuries.
Sources state that the individuals involved continued the assault even after recognising him as an actor. Niranjan later filed a complaint at the Subramanyapura police station , following which an FIR was registered. Police are currently investigating the matter to determine the sequence of events and whether the altercation was spontaneous or planned.
