At the time of writing this news, gold futures with expiry on June 5, 2026, were trading higher by around Rs 220 on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX).

Gold futures on MCX opened at Rs 1,48,847 per 10 grams. On the last trading day, gold closed at Rs 1,49,680 on MCX.

Silver price

Silver, with a May 5, 2026, expiry date, was trading almost flat on MCX. Silver opened the trading day at ₹230,716. The intraday high was ₹233,479.

In Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata, 10 grams of silver is selling for ₹2,500 today. Meanwhile, customers will have to spend ₹25,000 to buy 100 grams of silver. In Chennai, the price of 10 grams of silver is ₹2,550.
