To be recruited into the Madhya Pradesh Police, candidates belonging to the General, SC, or OBC categories must have passed the 12th grade, while candidates belonging to the ST category must have passed the 8th grade.
**Physical Standards**
– General/OBC/EWS: Height 168 cm; Chest 81–86 cm
– SC/ST: Height 165 cm; Chest 79–84 cm
– Gorkha/Others: Height 158 cm
– Vision: Visual acuity must be 6/9 in one eye and 6/12 in the other.
**How will the selection be conducted?**
There will be no written examination for this recruitment. The selection process will consist of three stages:
1. Skill Test (Qualifying Nature)
2. Band Playing Test (75 Marks)
3. Interview (25 Marks)
In the Band Test, candidates from the General category are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks, while candidates from the SC/ST categories must secure a minimum of 40% marks.
**What will be the salary?** Selected candidates will receive a pay scale ranging from ₹19,500 to ₹62,000. During the training period, candidates will receive a stipend of 70% in the first year, 80% in the second year, and 90% in the third year.
