Kerala IT professional Survival Story: Dense forest… constant rain… danger of ferocious elephants nearby… and only 500 ml of water in hand. No mobile network, no human being around…just silence and fear everywhere. Think what you will do in such a situation. Do you get goosebumps just hearing it? But a 36-year-old techie woman from Kerala not only endured this dreadful scene for 4 days, but also surprised everyone by coming back safely. When she was found, everyone was stunned to hear her story.
went on a trek and suddenly disappeared
36 year old Sharanya, resident of Kerala, is an IT professional by profession. On April 2, she had set out for trekking on Karnataka's famous Tadiandamol Peak with her 15 friends and a guide. Everything was going well, but a wrong turn while descending the mountain changed everything. Sharanya lost her way. When their group reached base camp, Sharanya was not there.
Wandered alone in the forest for 4 days
Sharanya had only a 500 ml water bottle and her phone also had no network. On the first day he spent the night near a water source (small stream). After this, she kept wandering in the forest for the next three days, hoping to find a way or someone to help. He even tried calling from the phone once, but the battery ran out. In such a situation, he had only one option, that was to keep walking.
Forest full of elephants, still not afraid
The presence of elephants is common in the area where she was trapped. On top of that, it was raining, which made the situation more difficult. But the most surprising thing was that Sharanya said that she did not feel scared at all. His statement surprised everyone. His calmness even in such difficult situations became his greatest strength.
9 teams conducted a major search operation
As soon as the news of Sharanya's disappearance was received, a search operation was immediately started. Police, forest team, anti-Naxal unit and local people participated in it. With the help of drones and special cameras, searches were conducted in every part of the forest. Officials in Bengaluru said that the operation was carried out continuously 24 hours a day. Eventually, four days later, some local people spotted him in a remote area of the forest and pulled him out safely. State officials described this entire rescue operation as a big success. Besides, Sharanya's courage and wisdom were also highly praised.
