Birbichand Azad, a beggar from Mumbai, passed away at the age of 82. After his death, authorities discovered coins worth ₹1.77 lakh and fixed deposit documents amounting to ₹8.77 lakh in his home.

He had all necessary identification documents, including an Aadhaar card, PAN card, and senior citizen card. The police found four bags filled with coins, and counting them took nearly six hours.

Sarvatiya Devi is another beggar who leads a life of comfort despite her profession. Residing behind Ashok Cinema in Patna, she has successfully married off her daughter to a respectable family.

Remarkably, she pays an annual insurance premium of ₹36,000. She enjoys traveling by train and finds joy in her unique lifestyle.

Bharat Jain, over 50 years old, is among the wealthiest beggars in the country. He has accumulated significant property, including two flats in Mumbai valued at ₹70 lakh.

His monthly income reaches ₹75 lakh, although his family runs a stationery shop and advises him against begging. Nevertheless, he finds joy in his work and ignores their concerns.

Sambhaji Kale and his family beg together in the Khar area of Mumbai. With four members in the family, they earn thousands of rupees daily.

Despite being classified as beggars, they have amassed considerable wealth, owning two houses in Virar, a flat, and land in Solapur, along with substantial bank savings.

Krishna Kumar is another wealthy beggar, earning around ₹1,500 daily. He has established a comfortable life through begging.

He has a favorite spot near CP Tank on Churni Road in Mumbai, where he enjoys begging and has even purchased a flat for himself and his brother.

Despite his profession as a beggar, Lakshmidass lives up to his name, which signifies wealth. He began begging at the young age of 16 in Kolkata.

Since 1964, he has been begging for over 50 years, accumulating wealth that many would find challenging to amass through hard work.
