Motorola is now going to take a big step in the foldable smartphone market. The company is preparing to introduce its first book-style foldable premium smartphone Motorola Razr Fold, which will enter the premium segment with powerful features. This device has features like 6000mAh large battery and 80W fast charging, which make it special in terms of power and performance. When will Motorola’s first foldable phone be launched?
Motorola is also finally going to enter the book-style foldable segment. The brand’s upcoming Motorola Razr Fold phone will be introduced soon. Recently it has been seen on a retail listing in China, which has confirmed that its pre-orders in the domestic market will start from May 31.

Interestingly, buyers in the UK market will get it soon. The brand posted on Motorola’s UK official social media handle This means the wait is almost over. The phone was already unveiled at MWC earlier this year, but it’s only now that it’s getting a more customer-facing look.

What will be special in Motorola Razr Fold?
The upcoming Razer Fold handset will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, which is paired with 16GB of RAM. This is enough to run multiple apps simultaneously. The battery is also large at 6,000mAh. It supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging as well as reverse charging.

It also has support for Moto Pen Ultra, which shows that Motorola wants to use it not just for media use but also as a productivity device.

The display setup seems pretty typical for a foldable, but it does have some interesting options. Inside, there is an 8.09-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, the 6.56-inch display goes up to 165Hz, which is a bit odd for a foldable. However, how much this matters in daily use is another question. Talking about the size, it measures approximately 9.9mm when folded and 4.6mm when unfolded, weighing approximately 244 grams. It is a bit heavy like the Galaxy Z Fold7 (215g) and Honor Magic V6 (219g).

The camera setup has three 50MP sensors at the back: a main, ultra-wide, and a 3x telephoto. For selfies, there is a 32MP camera on the outer display and a 20MP camera on the inside.

Its price is said to be €1,999, which puts it on par with other premium foldables. This isn’t a surprise, although it does make it a little difficult to answer the general question of price.

There are still some things that are unknown, especially regarding its availability in different regions, but as pre-orders approach, these details will soon become clear.
