Kullu Road Accident: Big accident in Himachal! Traveler filled with 22 tourists fell into a deep gorge, 4 died tragically and 14 were seriously injured.

Kullu: A very sad news has come out from Kullu district of Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh. Late night on Saturday (April 4), a tempo traveler of tourists returning from Jalori Pass went out of control and fell into a deep gorge. In this heart-wrenching accident, four tourists including two women died on the spot, while 14 other people were seriously injured. The condition of some of the injured is said to be very critical, and they have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Due to rain and slippery conditions, the journey of 15 km remained incomplete. According to the information, the accident happened at around 8:30 pm at a place called Sojha near Banjar town. According to the preliminary report of the District Disaster Management Authority, it was raining continuously on the 15 km long route while descending from Jalori Pass towards Bhuntar. Due to heavy rains, there was tremendous slippage on the road, due to which the driver lost control of the vehicle and the traveler laden with tourists fell straight into a deep ditch. Rescue operation at midnight, local people also stepped up their efforts. As soon as information about the accident was received, Kullu police, fire service personnel and local administration team reached the spot. Due to darkness and deep ditch, the rescue operation faced a lot of difficulties, but with the help of local residents, the rescue operation was carried out rapidly. A total of 22 people including two children were traveling in the vehicle. The police have so far pulled out 18 people from the debris, out of which 14 injured were taken to the Community Health Center (CH) of Banjar. The vehicle was booked from Delhi, the tourists stayed in a hotel in Jibhi. Initial investigation by the police has revealed that all the tourists had booked the vehicle from Delhi and had come to visit Himachal. All these tourists were staying in a private hotel in Jigbi, about 10 kilometers away from Banjar, and had gone to visit Jalori Pass on Saturday. This fatal accident occurred during the return journey. Deputy Commissioner Anurag Chander Sharma has confirmed that the four people killed in the accident include two men and two women. The administration intensified relief work, monitored the condition of the injured. Immediately after the accident, the injured were taken to the hospital through 108 ambulance services. Police officials say that the condition of one passenger is extremely serious and he may be referred for better treatment. At present, the exact cause of the accident is being thoroughly investigated, although initially the weather and poor road conditions are being considered responsible.
