‘Dhurandhar 2’ dominates the box office: ₹1,564 crore worldwide, crosses ₹1,179 crore gross in India

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues to create new records at the box office. The spy thriller action film directed by Aditya Dhar has earned over ₹1,564 crore worldwide till the 17th day, while its gross collection in India has reached ₹1,179.30 crore.

This Ranveer Singh starrer film is maintaining a strong hold even in the third week. According to Sacknilk data, the film earned ₹25.65 crore on the 17th day (Saturday), indicating increased audience interest in the third weekend.

The film earned a record-breaking ₹674.17 crore in the first week, while adding ₹263.65 crore in the second week. So far its net collection in India has been ₹985.02 crore and soon it is going to join the ₹1000 crore net club.

The film’s performance in the overseas market has also been excellent. With the earning of ₹10 crore on the 17th day, the total overseas collection has reached ₹385 crore. Thus, the total worldwide gross of the film has become ₹1,564.30 crore.

The film is still behind the big records like Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Pushpa 2: The Rise, but it has already crossed the lifetime collections of blockbusters like RRR, Kalki 2898 AD and KGF: Chapter 2.

The film stars Ranveer Singh in the role of ‘Jaskirat Singh Rangi’, an Indian spy who infiltrates the underworld of Lyari by going undercover as ‘Hamza Ali Mazri’. The story depicts his mission and transformation, where he tries to destroy the terror network and crime world.

Many actors including Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun are seen in important roles in the film. Yami Gautam’s cameo is also included in the film. After the huge success of the first part (₹1,300 crore worldwide), ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is now moving fast towards creating new box office records. Trade experts believe that if the current momentum continues, the film can cross many big milestones in the coming days.
