Delhi, A woman and her lover have been apprehended once again in a shocking case. The woman orchestrated the murder of her husband with the help of her brother-in-law and disposed of the body in a drain. Let's delve into the details of this disturbing incident.
The incident took place in Alipur, Delhi, where Sonia fell in love with Pritam when she was just 15 years old. They later married against their families' wishes and have three children together, including a 16-year-old son and two daughters.
Love Affair After Marriage
Seventeen years into their marriage, Sonia developed feelings for another man. Her lover, Rohit, 28, has a criminal background and worked as a taxi driver. Despite this, he continued his illicit relationship with Sonia, and the two wanted to marry. Consequently, they plotted to eliminate Pritam.
Brother-in-Law's Role in the Murder
According to police, another suspect, Vijay, who is Sonia's brother-in-law, is currently on the run. He accepted a contract of 50,000 rupees to carry out Pritam's murder. After the crime, Vijay sent Sonia a video and photos of Pritam's body via Instagram, demanding payment. Sonia then sold her husband's auto to pay him.
False Report Filed After the Murder
On July 20, Sonia filed a missing person report for Pritam at the Alipur police station, claiming he had gone out and not returned. Initially, the police treated it as a standard missing person case. During the investigation, they traced a mobile number linked to Pritam that was being used in Sonipat, leading them to Rohit. Upon questioning, Rohit initially misled the police but later confessed to the crime.
Mobile Phone Reveals the Truth
Rohit revealed that Pritam was murdered on July 20. Sonia had instructed him to dispose of Pritam's mobile to eliminate evidence. However, Rohit changed his mind upon seeing the valuable phone, discarding the SIM card but keeping the device. A few days later, he turned the phone back on with his own SIM card, which ultimately led to the unraveling of the entire murder plot.
