Raipur. The much awaited short film “Khauf – The Digital War” written, directed and starring Raigarh SSP Shashi Mohan Singh was released yesterday. Kaushalya Devi Sai, wife of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, was present as the chief guest in the program organized at Vishisht Community Hall of Jashpur.

SSP Shashi Mohan Singh himself will be seen in the role of the victim school teacher in the film to create awareness on cyber fraud, online banking fraud and crimes committed through social media. Along with him, many famous faces along with local artists from Raipur, Durg, Korba, Jashpur will be seen in the film.

In the technological era, where digital facilities are making life easier, cyber criminals are also misusing these technologies and adopting new ways to cheat people. At present, cases of digital fraud, online bank fraud and especially scams are increasing rapidly. Keeping in mind the increasing cyber crimes, SSP Raigarh Shashi Mohan Singh has taken this important initiative.

Let us tell you that this film is being produced by Take 3 Studios. The film effectively depicts incidents of fraud through social media, WhatsApp, Instagram, online games, KYC updates, fake mobile applications, screen sharing apps and suspicious links.

Local artists from Jashpur and various districts of Chhattisgarh have acted in the film, making this project a platform for local talent as well as an inspirational initiative for the society. The DOP (cinematographer) of the film is Anuj Kumar. Actors include SSP Raigarh Shashi Mohan Singh, Suarvi Sinha, Deepa Mahant, Ram Prakash Pandey, Ribhu Samarth Singh, Kundan Singh, Praveen Agarwal, Vijay Singh Rajput, Ankit Pandey, Akarsh, Manisha, Vanshika Gupta and others.

The story of the film is written by Shashi Mohan Singh. The screenplay is written by Toran Rajput and dialogues by Ghanshyam. Parmeshwar Nag, make-up artist Varsha Soni and assistant Suchita Bhagat are included as camera assistants.

On the release of the film, SSP Jashpur Shashi Mohan Singh has said that Chhattisgarh Police is continuously taking legal action regarding digital fraud. This film has been produced with the aim of increasing awareness among the people. Local artists have also been given priority in the film, so that along with making the society aware, local talents can also get a platform.
