The Lucknow Super Giants captain Rishabh Pant produced a moment of magic with his wicketkeeping gloves in his side’s encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
In the eighth over of SRH’s innings, with the hosts already struggling at 26/3, Liam Livingstone decided to scoop Digvesh Rathi over the wicketkeeper’s head. But he failed miserably, being late in his shot.
The ball gripped and came late onto the Englishmen’s bat and ballooned after brushing off his shoulder. Pant was off-balance, going to his left, but recovered well to take a stunning one-handed diving catch to give SRH another thumping blow.
It was a moment of brilliance by the LSG’s captain, as Livingstone departed after scoring 14 runs in 20 balls.
