Increasing demand for Mahindra’s EVs

Mahindra sells vehicles in various segments in the Indian market. The company offers an extended range of SUVs in both the ICE and EV (Electric Vehicle) segments. Along with its traditional SUVs, the demand for the company’s electric SUVs in India is also steadily increasing.

According to the company, the demand for vehicles in the electric SUV segment is increasing rapidly. In the last one year alone, Mahindra has sold more than 50000 SUV vehicles in this segment.

What cars were on offer in the electric segment?

In the electric SUV segment Mahindra & Mahindra offers three modern SUVs namely Mahindra BE6, Mahindra XEV 9e and Mahindra XEV 9s. All these three cars are presented with attractive design and sophisticated features.

Features

BE6 offers many premium features. It gets LED projector headlamps, a 12.3-inch infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Apart from this, there are features like front spoiler (with drain hole), illuminated logo, C-shape LED DRLs and tail lamps, rear spoiler, panoramic sunroof.

The car gets 19-inch alloy wheels, ambient lighting, 16-speaker audio system (Dolby Atmos) by Harman Kardon, App Store, Alexa and ChatGPT support, connected car technology, OTA updates and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Apart from this, cruise control, dual zone auto AC, 360 degree camera, ventilated seats, driver memory seat, powered tailgate (with gesture control), air purifier and many other amenities are available.

Features of Mahindra XEV 9e

The XEV 9e also packs a host of modern features. It features air purification system, UV protected sunroof, Harman Kardon audio system (Dolby Atmos), AR based heads-up display and 5G connectivity.

Features like Amazon Alexa integration, smart vehicle technology, cooled center console, 60:40 split rear seats and telescopic adjustable steering wheel are also available.

Features of Mahindra XEV 9s

The XEV 9s is a more premium SUV that uses advanced technology. It features Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipset, auto park assist, video calling support and VisionX AR HUD.

Apart from this, it gets Secure360 surveillance system, driver monitoring system, intelligent adaptive suspension, sequential turn indicators and 7 airbags. This SUV comes with Level 2+ ADAS (5 Radars + 1 Camera).

The car offers premium features like acoustic laminated glass, dual wireless charging, powered co-driver seat (Boss mode), ventilated second-row seats, soft-wrapped dashboard and 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system (Dolby Atmos).
