The famous line from Jagjit Singh's ghazal, 'There should be no age limit or birth restrictions when it comes to love,' resonates deeply in a recent incident from Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. This case exemplifies how love transcends age and societal norms, as a mother of four has eloped with her lover. The woman had been involved in a romantic relationship with a relative for the past five years.
The Escape at the Bus Stand
The incident occurred early Thursday morning at the Chhatarpur bus stand, where Rajaram was returning to his village with his wife and children from Delhi. Upon arriving, Ramdevi asked her husband to take the children to the restroom. When Rajaram returned, he discovered that his wife had vanished with her lover, Sunil, taking with her ₹24,000 in cash and an additional ₹50,000 from their bank account.
Husband Files a Complaint
After realizing his wife was missing, Rajaram contacted her parents, who shockingly claimed that their daughter was dead to them and refused to help. Consequently, Rajaram filed a complaint at the city police station at 5 PM. Station Officer Arvind Kujur stated that an investigation would be conducted, and appropriate action would follow. Rajaram expressed his distress, mentioning that he was saving money for his daughter's wedding, which his wife has now taken.
