WhatsApp New Feature: WhatsApp is soon bringing a special feature, through which you will be able to set the profile photo of those friends who have not set or removed their DP. It is often difficult to identify contacts without a photo, especially when the names are similar. With the help of this new feature, you will be able to identify them easily by placing a photo of your choice, so that there will be no fear of accidentally sending a message to someone else.
How will the new WhatsApp feature work?
WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow you to change the profile photo of those friends who have not added their photo. You will be able to set the photo saved in your phone’s contact list on their WhatsApp profile. The special thing is that this photo will be visible only to you and not to others. This will make it easier to identify people with similar names. At present this facility has been given to some beta users for testing.
Testing of new features started
Currently, this new feature has been released only for some beta testing users of iPhone (iOS). Based on their suggestions, some improvements can be made in it, after which it will gradually be made available to everyone. However, it is worth noting that Facebook’s parent company Meta has not yet made any official announcement about this feature.

New privacy feature will come soon on WhatsApp
WhatsApp is working on a new privacy feature which will be much faster than the current ‘disappearing messages’. In this feature, as soon as the message is read, it will be automatically deleted within 15 minutes and if not read, it will be automatically deleted within 24 hours. However, the other person will be able to take a screenshot of this message or copy it, so it has to be used carefully. Currently this feature is being tested.
