Lucknow, 3 April. Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president and Union Minister Pankaj Chaudhary has launched a scathing attack on the opposition regarding the inauguration of Jewar International Airport and said that for the people of the state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not a guest but like a member of the house. Pankaj Choudhary said on social media that the Prime Minister has his own place in every house of the 25 crore people of the state. Taking a jibe at the opposition parties, he said that guests are those people who come among the public only during elections in five years and raise questions on the system when they are defeated.

Referring to Noida, the Union Minister said that people who were once shy of coming to Noida due to political reasons, today a grand international airport has been inaugurated in the same Noida under the leadership of the Prime Minister. He termed this as the new height of development. Describing the politics of the opposition as cowardly and corrupt, Choudhary said that earlier Noida was made only a medium for personal gain, whereas now this area is gaining recognition at the global level. He said that this airport is a symbol of that flight of development, which narrow minded people will not be able to understand. Referring to the 2027 assembly elections, he said that the people of the state are ready to completely reject the politics of the opposition and will answer them in a democratic manner. After this statement, the issue of Noida Airport and development versus politics has once again heated up in the state politics.

It is noteworthy that PM Modi had said in his address during the inauguration of Jewar Airport that the previous governments ignored the development of Noida. He had alleged that during the SP government, this area was used for personal interests instead of taking it forward in a planned manner. Modi had said that today’s government is working on the agenda of transparency and development. Responding to Modi’s allegations, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav had issued a statement on the social media platform ‘X’. He said that the Prime Minister has come to the state as a guest and he will be sent off with respect. Akhilesh Yadav sarcastically said that when defeat is in sight, a person loses control over his position and words, but our values always include respecting elders.
