Six students fall ill after breakfast at tribal welfare school in Telangana

Hyderabad: Six students experienced vomiting and diarrhoea after eating breakfast at an all-boys Ashram school in Yellur village of Penchikalpet mandal, Kumram Bheem Asifabad district, on Friday, April 3. The school is managed by the Tribal Welfare Department.
The affected students comprise four Class 10 students, one Class 7 student and a Class 9 student. They have been shifted to the Area Hospital in Kagaznagar town and their condition is reportedly stable.
“The students had upma for breakfast and complained of vomiting and diarrhoea. They have been shifted to the hospital and will be discharged tomorrow,” the school principal, Gopal, told Siasat.com.
