Raw Turmeric Halwa: Everyone must have eaten semolina halwa and gram flour halwa at some point of time. But have you ever eaten raw turmeric halwa? If not, then you should definitely try this very easy recipe of this sweet dish. For your information, let us tell you that to make nutrient-rich raw turmeric halwa, you will need 200 grams of raw turmeric washed and peeled, 50 grams of ginger washed and peeled, 2 tablespoons of ghee, one tablespoon of almonds, one tablespoon of coconut shavings and 200 grams of jaggery.
Step 1- First of all put the almonds in the grinder and then grind them. After this, chop turmeric and ginger and put it in the mixer.
Second step- You have to grind these two things and prepare a fine paste. Heat ghee in a pan.
Third Step- Now add turmeric and ginger paste in hot ghee and fry it on medium flame for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Fourth Step- After this you have to add ground almonds and coconut powder to this mixture and then fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
Fifth Step- Lastly add jaggery and keep mixing it until it melts and mixes well.
Sixth Step- Cook the raw turmeric halwa for 10 to 15 minutes and then turn off the gas and let the halwa cool down.
In just 30 to 40 minutes your raw turmeric halwa will be ready to serve. From children to adults, everyone will like the taste of raw turmeric halwa. If you eat raw turmeric pudding within limits, it can have many positive effects on your health. When the raw turmeric halwa cools down, you can store it in an air tight container for a month.
