Telangana govt announces summer holidays from April 24

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has announced a 48-day summer break for schools across the state starting April 24.
Schools will reopen for the academic year 2026-27 on June 12. The government has allowed schools to conduct additional classes if necessary in order to complete the syllabus.
Schools in Telangana, including government-aided and private, have been operating half a day since March 15 due to intense heat.
