As much as many of us like the idea of jetting off abroad, the experience can be stressful due to lengthy airport queues. However, if you travel from the UK, you may be in luck as some tourists think there's an easy method you can use to ensure you have a calm experience.

Videos have been circulating on TikTok describing one airport in the UK as "the world's quietest". It's thought to be so peaceful due to the lack of queues and crowds, with many sharing videos of a virtually empty venue when they've been jetting off on holidays over the past few months.

Now others seem keen to try it, as the airport looks so peaceful. Making a simple passport check soon may also help you to avoid hefty airport queues too.

Liam Clear is one tourist who dubbed Cardiff Airport as the "world's quietest" after sharing footage online. He admitted he wishes every experience was like the one he had at the Welsh venue.

He said: "This is the least busiest airport I've ever been to in my life. It's dead.

"I wish every airport was like this." He then turns the camera around to show people what it looked like, and there were just a few people relaxing and waiting for their flights.

There were no huge queues or massive crowds. Instead, it was a really peaceful environment.

The video got people talking, as one replied: "Don't tell people. They will want to come here."

Another added: "We love our quiet little airport. We will be there now in a minute."

A third replied: Class! I would occasionally fly into Donegal and City of Derry Airports, and the approach scenery is stunning! A gentler pace at these airports."

Other videos have also circulated claiming the airport is super quiet. This caused another traveller to write: "I’m hoping to fly from here shortly to tackle my flying anxiety. With it being so quiet, I think it will be ideal."

Someone else noted: "I love flying from Cardiff Airport. It's small with nothing really to spend my money on."

Others were keen to visit after seeing how quiet it is. One more also wrote: "Remind me to get all my flights from Cardiff Airport from now on."

Generally, Cardiff Airport is considered a very quiet, calm and stress-free airport when compared to larger UK hubs such as Bristol. Passengers frequently report short security queues and a relaxed atmosphere, which makes it an ideal option for many travellers.

Naturally, how busy it is will depend on the time you fly and how many flights are due to leave around the same time. However, because it's smaller, it's generally less stressful than other popular airports.

A lot of people report making it through security checks in around 10 minutes. There are often minimal, or even no queues, in some instances.
