Congress protest against inflation in Vidisha

Vidisha. The Congress party held a major protest in Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh against rising inflation and local problems. During this, the workers performed a unique demonstration by taking out the bier of the gas tank. After the demonstration, Congress workers staged a sit-in and submitted a memorandum to the Tehsildar.

Huge rally against inflation

On Monday, in Vidisha’s Lateri area, Congress workers took out a massive rally from Sironj intersection to Jai Stambh intersection to protest against the exorbitant hike in gas cylinder and electricity bills, as well as diesel-petrol shortage. The major attraction of this rally was the display of ‘arthi’ of gas tank and electricity bills, which expressed their concern against inflation.

Questions raised on education system

During the protest, Congress workers were seen banging their heads on gas cylinders and lamenting the economic burden being placed on the public. After the rally, the workers staged a protest at the intersection and submitted a memorandum to the Tehsildar. Along with this, Congress also raised questions on the education system.

Displeasure over bad exam results of Sandipani Vidyalaya

Block Congress President Yadveer Singh Baghel and other workers expressed deep displeasure over the poor examination results of the local Sandipani Vidyalaya. He demanded immediate transfer of teachers. Activists say that due to the wrong policies of the government, the life of the common man is becoming difficult.
