WhatsApp Unread Chat Summary Feature: WhatsApp constantly works on new features to improve its users' experience. Now the company is preparing a special feature that could completely change the way we read messages. It often happens that due to busy schedules, people are unable to read their chats, especially group messages, on time. Keeping this problem in mind, WhatsApp is developing a new Unread Chat Summary feature.
What is the Unread Chat Summary feature?📝 WhatsApp beta for Android 2.26.12.10: what's new?

This upcoming feature will allow users to view the summary of multiple unread chats simultaneously. This eliminates the need to open each chat and read lengthy conversations. This feature could prove extremely useful for those who are part of multiple groups and cannot read every message. A short summary will provide an overview of the entire conversation.
How will this feature work?To make this feature secure, WhatsApp is using a unique technology called Private Processing. Whenever a user requests a chat summary, only new and unread messages will be processed. A summary will then be created within a secure system.
Most importantly, neither WhatsApp nor its parent company, Meta, will have access to the user's messages or their summaries during this process. This makes this feature considered more secure than other AI tools.
Users will get complete controlThis feature will be completely optional, meaning it won't be forced upon anyone. Users will be able to decide which chat summaries they want to see. Furthermore, Private Processing will be disabled by default, which users can enable in Settings as needed. This way, users will retain complete control over their data.
The feature is currently in the testing phaseThis feature is currently being tested on beta versions of Android and is not yet available to all users. The company is continuously working to improve it. Once testing is complete, it may be gradually rolled out to more users.
How will users benefit? As activity on messaging apps increases, so does the volume of messages. This feature will help users save time and avoid the hassle of repeatedly scrolling through long chats.
