Your online payments are about to get a lot easier. You can now make payments using just your fingerprint. These new rules apply to payments up to ₹5,000. Simply use your fingerprint or face lock.
People often forget their PIN, which can lead to payment failures. Furthermore, entering the wrong PIN multiple times can cause problems. This feature is therefore beneficial.
This feature of the BHIM app works on both Android and iOS devices. You'll find fingerprint and face recognition available. This feature is very useful for security. Everyone's fingerprint and face are different. Therefore, making payments will be very safe. The chances of fraud are very low.
How to start?
First, you need to open the BHIM app. Then, go to your profile. There, you'll need to select your bank account and enable biometric transaction options. After that, you'll be able to make payments using your fingerprint.
