In a disturbing incident from Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, a woman conspired with her lover to murder her husband just 23 days after their wedding. The case unfolded in the Majholi police station area, where on March 8, a young man's body was discovered beneath a motorcycle by the roadside. Initially perceived as an accident, further police investigation revealed the truth behind the crime.
The body was found on March 8 near the Rajinia Katra forest, leading police to suspect foul play due to visible injuries. The deceased was identified as 24-year-old Ajay Vaishya from Khantara village, who had married Uma from Gannai village on February 12.
As the investigation progressed, it was revealed that Uma had been in a relationship with a man named Amar Bahadur prior to her marriage. Despite her recent wedding, the two maintained contact. During questioning, Uma confessed that she had summoned her husband to her parental home on March 7, informing Amar about Ajay's arrival.
Amar, along with an accomplice named Chandrapratap, intercepted Ajay in the Rajinia Katra forest, where they strangled him with a scarf and then bludgeoned him to death with a rock. To mislead the authorities, they concealed Ajay's body under his own motorcycle, creating the illusion of a road accident. However, the diligent police investigation ultimately exposed their crime, leading to the arrest of Uma, Amar, and Chandrapratap.
