Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav has strongly challenged the state government over its decision to hand over the case of suspicious death of a student preparing for NEET in a hostel in Patna to CBI. He called it a living proof of the corruption and inefficiency of the administrative system.
The incident has shaken the entire Bihar. There is a suspicion of rape and murder of the student. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar demanded a CBI inquiry from the Centre, which was confirmed by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Thursday. The government claims that the culprits will not be spared from punishment.
Tejashwi made a sharp attack on X and said that by handing over the case to CBI instead of arresting the criminals, the government has proved that the system of Bihar is corrupt, inefficient, inefficient and unprofessional. More than the police, the corrupt system of the NDA government is responsible, which pretends to challenge the crime community.
Referring to Navruna case, he warned that CBI could not catch the accused in 12-13 years and put the investigation on hold. This will happen in this case. Where are those shouting election jungle raj? Who will take responsibility for the corrupt law and order? Will headline management save the day?
This case is exposing student security in the coaching hubs of Bihar. Expectations have increased due to handing over to CBI, but the opposition is raising questions whether it will be able to provide justice or will become an excuse for delay. The government will now have to respond with action.
